Israel's war on the People of Gaza

Can't make sense out of the Israeli aggression towards Gazan people.

Gazans have been continuously getting pushed into a corner, with settlements and the siege and the wall and incursions and destruction of farmland. No land or people can survive that kind of suffocation. You imprison a country and starve it's people, and then wonder why radical actors gain prominence among them.

Democratic elections where urged by Israel and US, and they should have accepted the outcome when people decided to vote Hamas into power. Would have been the only way to genuinely engage the Gazan people. Hamas is radical and irrational, but there are radical factions in Israel that are engaged and were part of administration at various times. Instead, there was the siege on Gaza, economically and geographically. The siege and closing of the borders made the tunnels integral to survival of the people.

I believe Israel has shown that it has no regard for Palestinian lives, by it's dispropotionate response to Hamas missiles. What constitutes state-sponsored terrorism? When do the US taxpayers hold back on some of that 3 billion dollars, in response to the massacre? Are we culpable if we don't? I have no idea.
