Had a very good time in Chicago. Art Institute had an exhibit on Japanese screens. Such elegant lines and brush strokes. Inspired me to experiment.

I don't know how I found this blog-actually I know how it happened but cannot understand why whatever occurred seemed to light on this particular blog, but it's a nice find.
My father was a school teacher and he used to cut the top line off his 4th grade students' assignments (the part that had name and letter grade) and bring paper home for doodling. In a family of 8 kids, we used a lot of paper.
I don't watch movies in general, and don't watch any that I didn't anticipate would be good; haven't watched many at all in my life. It's rather interesting of those listed in blog profile, a few I've seen and enjoyed. Nothing too sappy or silly, but with enough convincing acting to make it a memorable story.
Millennium Actress is a good film too, after reading about the actress whose loosely fit story is based.
